Roof Revitalized: Replacing a 24-Year-Old Roof with Modern Durability and Ventilation

This Coeur d'Alene home had a 24 year old roof that was showing significant granule loss as well as seal failure. The customer elected for roof replacement as it did not qualify for a Roof Maxx treatment. The existing roofing material was removed, ice/water shield was installed in the valleys and six feet above the eaves. Synthetic underlayment was installed over the remainder of the deck. Additional venting was installed as the quantity of original venting was inadequate. Malarkey Vista shingles were installed in the color black oak.
